The next surprise entrant was non other than Goldust!!! I'm a huge fan of his and to see him show up and go right for his little bro, Cody Rhodes was definitely a highlight, in my opinion! The reaction from the crowd was amazing! They were completely behind Goldust and for him to be eliminated by his own brother definitely adds needed heat to Cody.

Finally on to the end of the match. The final participants were Ryback and John Cena. I was kinda hoping Ryback would have won this one but in a completely expected ending, John Cena was the last man in, winning the 2013 Royal Rumble match.

Last match of the night was the much anticipated, Rock vs Punk match for the WWE Championship. To be honest, I thought Punk would retain the title and Rock would just end up leaving again to make another movie. However, after the lights when out and Rock was attacked by "The Shield" (even though, we didn't see them), Mr. McMahon ended up restarting the match by the request of The Rock. This time, the match ends with Rock pinning Punk after "the People's Elbow", ending CM Punk's historical 434 day title run and one of the few recent title runs to actually mean something....again, in my opinion. ;)
Now on to tonight's Monday Night Raw, which was in Las Vegas....so naturally they did the Raw Roulette. All throughout the night, there were silly, time-wasting segments such as the "Make Me Laugh" challenge with The Prime Time Players and Ryback and a "Dance Off" with Brodus Clay and Tensai (dressed in lingerie after not being told the stipulations had been changed.) Ugh. Later on the 3rd inductee into the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame was revealed to be the former 5 time WWE Women's Champion, Trish Stratus! Congrats are in order...WAY TO TO GO TRISH!!!!
One of the more interesting segments of the night was Mr. McMahon calling out Paul Heyman for a performance evaluation. McMahon shows the footage of Paul Heyman talking to Brad Maddox about paying him and The Shield off for "jobs to be done". Before McMahon can say to Heyman those words we all know he was going to say, Brock Lesnar's music starts up! I thought he was gone for good again. Definitely didn't see that coming! In a cringe worthy moment, Lesnar hits McMahon with an F5 and McMahon lands on his side and immediately grabs his lower side area. The man is getting old...he shouldn't be taking moves, let alone an F5!!! If you frequent WWE.com enough like I do, it was revealed that McMahon suffered a broken pelvis. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it turned out to be a real injury! Poor McMahon.
All in all, I'd say this has been an exciting couple of days in the WWE. It was certainly filled with interesting comebacks and I can't wait to see how things play out. Certainly looking forward to the Elimination Chamber ppv next month! My 3rd favorite wrestling pay-per-view. Yeah!!! Alrighty peeps, (by the way, where is Christian?!?!?) thanks for reading and as always, feel free to leave me questions or comments. They are always appreciated! ;)
